How do I play?

Place one critter in every row, every column and every colored patch. Two critters may never touch, not even diagonally. Tap a square once to mark it ✕, twice to place a critter, and drag across squares to mark many at once. Lily's first lesson is always available from the rules sheet or Settings.

Is every puzzle really solvable without guessing?

Yes. Each puzzle has exactly one answer, and each one was checked by a solver that only uses the same logic steps a person would. If you're stuck, a hint shows the next step and explains why it works.

How does the hint jar work?

The jar holds 3 hints and refills one every 30 minutes. Solving the daily adds a bonus hint. Hints that point out a mistake are always free. Snug Club members have unlimited hints.

What's free, and what's Snug Club?

The daily puzzle, levels 1 to 100, your streak, the widget and Game Center are free forever, with no ads. Snug Club adds two extra dailies every day (Pairs and Stumps), levels 101 to 300, every past daily, unlimited hints and all board themes. Choose yearly (with a free week), monthly, or a one-time lifetime purchase.

How do I cancel or get a refund?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions. Refunds are handled at reportaproblem.apple.com. To restore a purchase on a new device, open Snug ▸ Settings ▸ Restore purchases.

How do I move to a new phone?

If iCloud is on, your progress and streak follow you automatically when you sign in with the same Apple Account.

How do I add the widget?

Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit ▸ Add Widget, and search for Snug. There are Home Screen and Lock Screen sizes.
